Audrey Cook, BVM&S, MRCVS, DACVIM, DECVIM

Dr. Audrey Cook graduated with Distinction from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at Edinburgh University in 1989. She spent the next year completing an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After a year in general practice in England, Dr. Cook began a residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of California at Davis.
In 1994, she became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and in 1996 she achieved Diplomate status in the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. In 1997, Dr. Cook started a referral practice in Newport News, VA, and was owner and staff internist for 10 years.
Dr. Cook is presently a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Her duties include clinical instruction of senior veterinary students, didactic teaching of third-year students, and mentoring of house-officers.
Dr. Cook’s clinical interests include canine and feline endocrinology and gastroenterology.
