The CBC is one of the cornerstones of laboratory diagnostics. However, some aspects of the quantitative analysis provided by many analyzers are underutilized while others are relied on when they might be misleading. These sessions will use case studies to illustrate the usefulness of the hematological evaluation of patients with various disease conditions, as well as circumstances where blood film analysis is critical for accurate assessment.
