Chris L. Ludlow, DVM, MS, DACVIM (IM)

 

Dr. Ludlow earned his DVM from Kansas State University in 1986. After graduation he worked in general practice in southern California for five years.  He then returned to KSU where he completed a combined internal medicine/small animal clinical nutrition residency and masters degree.  Following his residency he remained on staff at KSU in the Internal Medicine department for another 1 ½ years before joining Veterinary Specialists in 1996 where he served as a staff internist with this group of nine specialists for years. He subsequently served in the Scientific Communications section for Royal Canin USA for 2 years.  He now resides in Florida where he is in specialty practice doing internal medicine and nutrition consultation at the Animal Specialty Hospital in Rockledge. Dr. Ludlow is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.  His professional interests include gastroenterology, endocrinology, cardiology, and clinical nutrition.  He is a Fellow for Mark Morris Institute for Clinical Nutrition where he is involved with teaching nutrition at veterinary schools around the US, Canada and the Caribbean.  In his free time Dr. Ludlow enjoys cycling, hiking, and good wine.
